Dániel Fekete

Dear All,

I’m Dániel Fekete, a 17-year-old, grade 12 (senior) student of Eötvös József Secondary School from Budapest, Hungary. At MUNOG, I'm going to be one of the chairs in the Security Council. MUNOG 2018 is going to be my 3rd MUNOG and 9th conference overall, however only my third time being a chair.

I take advanced Maths and Physics classes, which I really enjoy, and I love electronics and programming, therefore, I’d love to become an engineer one day. My other (publishable) interests are quite basic, they include eating, watching series and films when I have some free time and biking if the weather allows me. Obviously, I’m also keen on MUN.

I’m pleased to be presiding over the Security Council, as I’m sure the debates will be of an extremely high quality, and it will be a pleasure to spend time with you too.

I’m really looking forward to MUNOG and to meeting all of you!

Dániel Fekete

Alexandru Hodivoianu

Hello everyone!

My name is Alexandru Hodivoianu  i am seventeen years old and i am a student at ’’Mihai Viteazul’’ National College in Bucharest. This will be my third chairing experience and fifth conference overall (hopefully not my last one) after i was a delegate in other two conferences. Before chairing this year’s DISEC committee, i have chaired the Security Council at  Munob 2018 and also the Sochum committee at Munol 2018. I love making new friends, playing basketball, dancing and politics.

For me, being a chair at this prestigous conference, will help me hone my organisational skills as well as my cultural background and will also help me to develop overall as a person.

I already know that the delegates from the DISEC committee are just as anxious as me for this conference to start. I can bet that our committee is going to be fun and at the same time hard-working.

Looking forward to meeting you all guys!

Victor Radocea

At MUNOG, not only are we emphasizing on being productive, but also on having a good time. Our ultimate goal is to fulfil your requirements and make you have an experience to remember.

I wish you all wonderful moments and I am looking forward meeting you all!

Iulia Andreea Luta

Hey people! Iulia here. I’m a proud 17 year old student in the 11th grade at the National College "Mihai Viteazul" . This will be my second time attending MUNOG but with a little difference from the last year's conference. This year I have the honour of being one of the people that will be chairing SOCHUM. This will be also my fourth MUN conference and my second time chairing. In the past I represented Somalia in the UNESCO committee for the MUNOB 2017, and chaired SPECPOL for the MUNOB 2018. I also took part as the delegate of the People's Republic of China for the MUNOG 2017.

I run on coffee, sarcasm and, unexpectedly, sport. I adore meeting new people and keeping in touch with as many as I can. And for this matter MUNOG was an amazing opportunity to meet such a variety of people and nationalities. Through its debates and committee sessions you don' t just learn about the current issues our world is facing, but you also get to know the delegates that surround you and this was one of the most important reasons that made me want to take part of  the MUNOG again.

As I previously stated, it is an honour for me to be your chair this year and I can't wait to meet you all guys!

Alexandra Dinca

Hello everyone! My name is Alexandra Dinca and I have the pleasure of chairing the WHO committee at MUNOG 2018. I am in the senior year at “Mihai Viteazul” National College in Romania. This is my 3rd MUN experience and my first time chairing.

MUN has been, so far, one of the best experiences I have ever had, since it helped me to develop my public speaking skills, my knowledge of the world, and, also, to make new friends. I am passionate about politics, international law and justice, as I want to go to law school in the future.

Besides MUN, I like travelling and reading about the subject that I am interested in. I can’t wait to meet you all in autumn and I hope we will have amazing debates that will make this conference unforgettable.

Domen Šelih

Dear delegates,

My name is Domen Šelih and I am 18 years old. Currently I am attending my last year at high school Gimnazija Bežigrad. The first MUN conference I have attended as a delegate was MUNOG 2017. From there on I participated as a chair at the GimbMUN 2018 and as an ambassador at the BIMUN 2018.

To me MUNOG and MUN in general represent an event, where students are improving their English speaking and writing skills, learning about certain country’s policies and seeking creative solution to world issues.

The atmosphere present at the MUNOG conference helps students to develop critical thinking skills and meet with opinions of others. Both of these elements make MUNOG an unforgettable experience.

It is an honour and a great pleasure to be the chair of the WHO committee. I am truly eager to see months of preparation being used for a fruitful debate.

I am looking forward to meeting you all and creating the most enjoyable MUN experience.

Best regards,

Domen Šelih

Lara Vignjević

Hello everyone,

My name is Lara Vignjević and I am a student from the hosting school in Sindelfingen, Germany.  At the time of the conference I will be 16 years old.

My first MUN experience was MUNOG 2017 when I participated as a delegate.

Participating again as a delegate at MUNOB 2018, I continued to fall in love with the MUN spirit.

MUNOG 2018 will be my third MUN and I cannot wait to experience this year’s conference with all of you!

Based on my own experience MUNOG is an extraordinary conference with amazing people from all over the world.

MUNOG is a great and unforgettable opportunity for all of us to think of current major issues our society and our world have to deal with and, most notably, to find measures to solve them in order to improve current and future living standards.

Being one of the Chairs of the World Health Organization is a pleasure for me and I cannot wait for our conference and to see you all in October!

Best regards

Lara Vignjević

Adorján Bárány

Hey guys,

I am Adorján Bárány from Eötvös József Gimnázium (Budapest, Hungary). I am 17 and at the time of MUNOG 2018 I will be in my ultimate year of high school. My first MUN conference was ENMUN 2015, where I started my career as I delegate. Since then, I have been to almost 20 conferences, took part as an organizer, as a chair, even as a Secretary-General. I also became the director of our MUN-Club at home. This will be my third time in Sindelfingen, I have been a delegate and an ambassador as well in the previous years. As I am in my last year, sadly, this MUNOG will probably be one of my last conferences. Outside of MUN, I am very fond of politics and economics, and hope to study something related to that at a university. In my free time, I enjoy listening to rap music, play football, watch Netflix or just going out with my friends. I am a big fan of memes and funny socks as well.

Looking forward to seeing you soon, especially for those in my beloved HRC,

Alexandra Ehlen

Hey everybody,

My name is Alexandra Ehlen, I am 16 years old and I currently attend 11th grade at Goldberg-Gymnasium Sindelfingen, near Stuttgart. It is an honour for me as well as a pleasure to chair the HRC and be a part of MUNOG 2018 with all of you.

My MUN course started in 2016 as a Sim Staff at MUNOG, which raised a lot of interest and curiosity, followed by my participation as a delegate in WHO the following year. Further conferences, just like MUNOB 2018 in Bucharest as a delegate and MUNISS 2018 in Stuttgart as a chair, were an incredible and amazing experience.

I was born in Russia and I have been living in Germany since 2008. In my free time I love dancing Hip Hop, singing, acting in drama groups and the piano.

I am so excited to see all of you in October 2018 in Sindelfingen and to spend a priceless and fun time with you! Working with my wonderful Co-Chairs, we will try to lead thoughtful and productive debates full of informative speeches and lots of different opinions.

See you soon, delegates!

Meriam Moumene

Hello everyone,

My name is Meriam Moumene, I am 18 years old and I currently attend the 12th class of Goldberg High School.

It is a great honor for me to be the Chair of the Human Rights Council this year.

My MUNOG career started in 2016  when I worked on the press team, gaining a lot of experiences and impressions from the outside.

Last year, I applied for being a delegate in the CCPCJ, which was a lot of fun for me. In addition, I was able to improve my English skills enormously and, incidentally, got to know the work for a Chair.

In my free time, I love to read books and do a lot of sports.

Dear Delegates,

My name is Leonard Hartenstein, I am 17 years old and I currently attend the 12th grade at the Goldberg Gymnasium Sindelfingen, Germany.

I had my first MUN experience at MUNOB, Romania, and took part in our school’s MUNOG, in both of them as a delegate. Before I have the honour and the luck to be able to chair the ECOSOC at MUNOG this year, I also chaired the ECOFIN at BIMUN, Hungary, and the Security Council at MUNISS, Germany.

I am sportive and do actively play American Football. I also love to play the piano and take part in our schools choir and in our drama group. Let us work together in order to have our committee become successful with inspiring speeches and fruitful debates!

I am looking forward to meeting you at this year’s  MUNOG.

Andreas Preuschoff

Hello everyone, my name is Andreas Preuschoff.

I am 18 years old and from Düsseldorf where I have lived my entire life. Since starting my MUN career in 9th grade I have attended 15 conferences including THIMUN, MUNISS and LMUNA. Furthermore, I also have experience in chairing as I have chaired at LMUNA and MUNISS along with other conferences.

In my opinion, MUNOG is a brilliant opportunity to experience and learn more about Model United Nations and also meet people from all around the world. Moreover, it enables us to engage in debate and constructive collaboration in order to tackle global issues and come up with creative and useful resolutions to contemporary topics.

Therefore, I look forward to MUNOG and am also honored to have the opportunity to chair at this conference and also to broaden my and, hopefully, other people’s horizons in current affairs and learn more how to communicate and collaborate in order do so.

I am excited for this conference and also to meet everyone!

Andreas Preuschoff

Razvan Costache

Greetings, delegates!

My name is Razvan Costache, I’m 17 years old and I’m a student in the 12th grade at „Mihai Viteazul” National College from Bucharest.

I’m a fond memeber of my school’s MUN Club since 9th grade when I participated as a delegate at two conferences: RIMUN and MUNOB. Since then, MUN turned into one of my hobbys, continuing my activity within the club and taking part in another two conferences during 10th grade: BIMUN(where I represented China in ILO) and MUNOB(where I represented Qatar in ECOSOC). Nevertheless, my peak performance was in the 11th grade when I returned to RIMUN to chair the Economic Commission for Africa and when I was appointed as one of the three Crisis Managers of MUNOB 2018 which offered me a lot of satisfaction because I used more than ever my history and geopolitic knowledge. MUNOG 2018 will be my 7th MUN conference and my second chairing experience.

As for my hobbies, I like reading philosophical books or anything about history, listening to music and strolling for hours.

I’m looking forward to meeting you all, delegates of IAEA and I hope you’ll turn MUNOG 2018 into an unforgettable experience for me.

Kind regards,

Razvan Costache

Anna Latypov

Hello everyone,

I am Anna Latypov from the Goldberg Gymnasium and I am 17 years old. My first MUN was MUNOG 2017, where I took part as a delegate. It was such an amazing experience, so I decided to participate as a delegate at MUNOB 2018, which was also an unforgettable time. MUNOG 2018 will be my third conference and I will be a Chair of the IAEA committee.

MUNOG is, for me, a great chance to get to know new people of all over the world. The experience you get by representing a country and taking part in the debates are not only fun, but also valuable for my future. It is very interesting to deal with global topics trying to find solutions for those issues.

By MUNOG with its debates and work in the committees we learn a lot about our world and raise awareness about current issues. Of course, we also learn about our people and our responsibility for each other.

It is such a pleasure for me to be a Chair of the IAEA and I can’t wait to get to know you. I am really looking forward for the debates and the work with you.

Best wishes so long and see you at MUNOG 2018!

Anna Latypov

Karina Florea

Hi everyone,

I’m Karina, I’m 17 years old and I attend the eleventh grade at the ”Mihai Viteazul” National College. I will be chairing the Committee on the Status of Women. This upcoming conference will be my 5th MUN, but my first time as a Chair. In the past years I’ve taken part into the MilanMUN 2017, RIMUN 2018 and MUNOB 2017&2018, which were all very constructive. MUN has always made me live thrilling experiences and unforgettable moments. I can say that every conference made me grow as a student and as a person. Besides MUN, my hobbies include playing the piano, swimming, travelling and not in the end making new friends.

I hope that this first chairing experience will make me develop in many ways and I promise to do my best in helping others. I can’t wait to meet my committee, hoping it will be full of hardworking delegates who are ready to debate fruitfully!

See you soon at MUNOG!

Sarah Schuele

Hey everyone!

I‘m Sarah Schüle and I have the pleasure to be the Chair of SPECPOL.

I am 17 years old and an 11grader at the hosting school, the Goldberg-Gymnasium Sindelfingen.

My first conference was in 2016 and since then I have attended some more conferences as a Delegate as well as a Chair. Looking back at these conferences I can say that being a Chair has always inspired me more. It‘s impressive seeing the development of shy delegates to self-confident and strong ones, as well as seeing young people debating about specific and current topics.

With this in mind, I‘m really looking forward to the committee sessions and fruitful debates.

Can‘t wait to meet you all!
