In the year 2024 we were lucky to welcome Prof. Braun at the opening
ceremony. Professor Harald Braun is a person with an impactful career
who has spent over three decades in international diplomacy, serving in
various high- ranking positions. He was Germany´s Permanent
Representative to the United Nations from 2014 to 2017, a key role in which
he also served as Vice President of the UN General Assembly in 2016-17.
Prior to this, Braun was a State Secretary of the German Foreign Office,
contributing to foreign policy and global security issues. His diplomatic
work extended to positions in Washington D.C., Paris, and as a special
envoy for Afganistan. Because of his work in the UN we feel very happy that
he hold a speech in MUNOG.
