Dear teachers and students,

On behalf of the whole secretariat it is a great honour to invite delegates from all over the world to attend Model United Nation of Goldberg 2017.

Taking a look back at the first Model United Nations of Goldberg in 2008, which was initialized as a Climate Change Conference with seven committee and 15 participating schools we are proud that we have strengthened international relations with schools and students.

MUNOG has evolved over the years to a professional conference with 9-10 committees, 220-250 Delegates from over 15 countries and more than 60 represented nations and non-governmental organizations. Over the past years passionate students and 8 committed teachers have been involved in organizing the conference which resulted in over 1600 students taking part as delegates in 8 MUNOG conferences.    

MUNOG is more than a simulation of the United Nations. It also means the individual decision of young well-minded students to develop and become part of a globalized world where nationality and religious belief are part of their identity only.

October 20th – October 24th 2017

Arrival will be at October 19th and Departure at October 25th. Delegates will be accommodated in host-families or in hostels Accommodation in host families will not require any additional payment. The Delegates fee is 85€ per Delegate. This fee includes a flat rate ticket for public transportation in the Stuttgart area, the excursions and events in the evening, as well as meals and conference materials.

Before and during a stay a delegation will be accompanied by an advisor, who will keep the delegation updated and will be a contact person for any information.
