it is my utmost pleasure to welcome you to the Model United Nations of Goldberg 2023!

My name is Sheila Sugata and I am the Secretary General of MUNOG 2023. Currently I am 16 years old and in my spare time I like to do equestrian sports and singing in our school band.

I am very grateful for my position, because I was able to experience MUNOG 2021 as a delegate and MUNOG 2022 as the Deputy Secretary General. Both positions taught me many lessons and I believe, that this project can help young people to broaden their political knowledge and additionally develop their intercultural competence. Apart from being a very educational project, I was able to have lots of fun during this exciting time and make special new frendships. MUNOG 2023 will be my be the fifth MUN, in which I participate.

Furthermore, I am very pleased to welcome international guests again. After experiencing MUNOG 2021 as a regional conference, due to the pandemic restrictions back then, I was especially thrilled by the fantastic atmosphere of our last international conference. I can not wait for MUNOG 2023 to get started and see how this stunning project will turn out. I truly believe we will enjoy this conference together in fun, heated and successful debates. Your interest and participation at MUNOG 2023 is very meaningful to me and I am looking forward to meet you all at our conference. Thank you for making this project possible.

Dear participants of MUNOG 2023,

My name is Tabea Saile, I am 15 years old and this year’s Deputy Secretary General. I am currently in tenth grade at Goldberg-Gymnasium.

Besides my passion for MUN conferences, I love singing and dancing in our school choir. In addition, I like to do equestrian sports as well as spending time with my friends.

I experienced MUNOG 2021 and 2022 as a delegate. In 2021 I was a delegate in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Council. In 2022 I have gained experience as delegate and ambassador in the Security Council.

It was an extremely exciting and unique time. I realized how much I love the idea behind this project. Especially the atmosphere and getting in contact with all of you make this conference such a special event.

I am really looking forward to MUNOG 2023, to seeing and to experiencing what our hardworking Executive Committee will have set up. I wish you all amazing and productive debates, a lot of fun as well as an unforgettable time for everyone.

My name is Leon Heckmann, I am 17 years old and currently I am going to the 11th grade. I am very excited and honored to be part of the Executive Committee as one of three Presidents of the General Assembly. In addition, I will be a chair of the Security Council together with Paula Leitner and Alisa Lachner.

I have already participated in MUNOG 2022 as a delegate of the Economic and Social Council. Furthermore I was able to gain some experience as a delegate and also as a chair at PMUN.

MUNOG is a very good way to extend your skills in different areas. You can improve your English skills as well as broaden you political horizon. Moreover, you can establish new contacts from different countries around the world.

My name is Alisa Lachner, I am 17 years old and I am looking forward to being one of the Presidents of the General Assembly of MUNOG 2023 alongside Leon Heckmann and Paula Leitner.

Over the past years, I was able to gain experience as a delegate in different international MUNs. Therefore, I feel honored to be one of the chairs of the Security Council in this year’s conference. MUNOG 2023 will be the fourth MUN Conference I am going to attend.

Besides my interest in politics, I love playing handball and travelling.

MUNOG is about expanding our political knowledge, getting to know new people from around the world and especially learning that we are never too young to become competent and to dicuss about politics!

My name is Paula Leitner, I am 17 years old and I am honored to be one of the Presidents of the General Assembly of MUNOG 2023,together with Leon Heckmann and Alisa Lachner. 

In MUNOG 2022 I gained some experience as a delegate. I participated as a delegate and as a chair at P-MUN and took part in one former conference in the staff area. During last year’s  conference I not only had the chance to improve my English skills, but also to learn that we are never too young to discuss politics.  

To expand my horizon even further, I am very pleased to be a chair of the Security Council.  

In my free time I play tennis, sing and dance in our school choir and read books.  

MUNOG is a great opportunity to take responsibility, get in contact with young people from different countries and raise one’s awareness for politics.

My name is Mara Blank, I am 17 years old and this year‘s Executive Director of Conference Management together with Angelina Salmon, Chiara Zangaro and Nele Pleß.

My name is Chiara Zangaro, I am 16 years old and this year’s Deputy Executive Director of Conference Management together with Nele Pleß. In this position, I will also be working with Angelina Salmon and Mara Blank.

My name is Nele Pleß, I am 14 years old and currently in 9^th grade. I am very happy to be a deputy Executive Director of Conference Management. I will be working in a team with Mara Blank, Angelina Salmon and Chiara Zangaro.

During MUNOG 2022 I gained a lot of experience in the organisation of MUNOG as Head of Service. It is always an amazing time, and it’s a good opportunity to improve your English skills and meet new people and friends. This is why I am very happy to take part in this year’s conference again.

my name is Roko M. Vrbljan, I am 16 years old and I feel honoured to be this year’s Head of Finances and Sponsoring. This year, I really want to finish my last possible year in MUNOG with fantastic memories.

In my spare time I like to do sports like football and play the drums on higher levels.

I experienced MUNOG 2022 as a deputy Sponsoring manager and I am absolutely fascinated with this stunning project. It was an extremely exciting time in which I was able to strike up unique new friendships and have fun. My name is Lennox, I’m currently 17 years old, and I’m going to the 11th grade.
In my free time I enjoy playing video games, baking/ cooking, playing American Football and doing technological things.

This is my fifth time participating for MUNOG (2 times as Service Staff, 1 time as Head of Service and this year the second time as a member of the Technology Team). We are currently working on a new version of the MUNOG Website, and I am responsible for a few new design decisions regarding digital representation of MUNOG.

My name is Karl Kuhn, I am 18 years old and this year I am the Head of Photography.

This is the second year I have participated in Munog, so I already have some experience. I'm still confident that I'll be able to do everything that's needed in my role as Head.

In my free time I like to play soccer and make music on the PC.

Through Munog you get to know a lot of new people from different countries and you can make new friends. In addition, almost all participants can improve their English skills, which is very important in later working life. You can also discuss your political interests and opinions with strangers there, which is a lot of fun.

my name is Vincent Böpple, I am 15 years old and I am visiting the 10th. grade in school. In the MUNOG project 2023, I am going to participate as the Head of Film.
